Production Manager

Role Overview

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of production planning, execution, and quality adherence to meet company targets and standards. This role demands coordination among multiple departments and efficient management of manpower and machinery on shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily production activities in alignment with orders and predefined targets.
• Achieve production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis while optimizing manpower and machinery use.
• Manage smooth operations across all shifts including morning, evening, and night.
• Collaborate closely with Store, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for seamless workflow.
• Guarantee that manufacturing processes comply strictly with SOPs, GMP, and ISO quality standards.
• Work together with QA/QC teams for conducting in-process and final product quality inspections.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Batch Manufacturing Records, Log Books, and other essential documentation.
• Implement hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols on the production floor.
• Supervise production staff, operators, and contract labor, handling work assignments, training, and performance monitoring.
• Enforce discipline and track attendance across shifts.
• Minimize wastage of raw and packaging materials to reduce production costs.
• Promote effective use of machinery and oversee preventive maintenance activities.
• Drive productivity improvements by applying 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Prepare and deliver daily production reports to management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished goods.
• Promptly report any equipment breakdowns, process deviations, or quality concerns.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in manpower management and leadership.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and ERP software.
• Strong capabilities in problem-solving and making informed decisions.
