Production Laborer

Job Overview

GardenCore is looking for a Production Laborer to support manufacturing operations in both covered and open-air environments. This role involves performing general labor tasks essential to maintaining efficient production line processes and factory upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and stack products as they exit the production line.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and the workspace area, ensuring debris-free surroundings.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing required protective gear at all times.
• Collaborate with the lead operator to prepare for production shifts and learn to operate machinery involved.
• Dispose of trash and debris from production sites efficiently.
• Perform additional duties related to the job as assigned temporarily or permanently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to comply with safety procedures such as machinery lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment usage.
• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Capability to work under conditions that may include dust, heat, or cold.
• Regular communication and auditory skills are necessary in this role.
• Must be able to stand for long durations.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 65 pounds using team lifting or equipment.
• Physical activities include bending, crouching, climbing stairs and ladders, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
