Job Overview
The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets. This role involves managing workforce shifts, monitoring efficiency metrics, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure smooth shop-floor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production processes to achieve predefined targets.
- Manage manpower allocation and shift scheduling effectively.
- Track and analyze production efficiency, reject rates, and material wastage.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Inventory, and Production Planning teams for seamless operations.
- Implement measures to enhance productivity while minimizing process-related losses.
- Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), 5S methodology, safety norms, and quality standards.
- Compile and deliver production reports and Management Information Systems (MIS) data.
- Oversee routine shop-floor production tasks to ensure operational consistency.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary ranging between 35,000 to 45,000 Indian Rupees.
