Role Overview
We seek a customer-oriented and meticulous Product Support Specialist to deliver comprehensive product assistance, ensuring seamless experiences for both customers and internal stakeholders. This position entails mastering product features, assessing user requirements, resolving product-related issues, and collaborating closely with various teams to enhance product usability and service quality.
Key Duties
- Respond promptly to product inquiries, delivering accurate guidance and information.
- Troubleshoot problems and follow up on reported issues to confirm timely resolution.
- Document customer feedback and recurring problems to reveal trends and areas for product or process enhancement.
- Collaborate with product development, technical, sales, and customer service teams to investigate concerns and communicate solutions effectively.
- Support product updates and releases, including assisting in product testing and maintaining accurate support documentation and knowledge base content.
- Clearly communicate technical or product-related information in a user-friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, IT, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field.
- Sound knowledge of product functionalities, customer support workflows, and fundamental technical/software concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving competencies.
- Customer-first attitude demonstrating patience, empathy, and dedication to positive user experiences.
- Capability to investigate issues, determine root causes, and clearly convey outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with support ticketing, CRM, or product management software.
- Outstanding documentation skills and careful record-keeping of issues, solutions, and feedback.
- Effective collaboration skills across multiple teams including product, technical, development, sales, and service.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and requests efficiently.
- Proactive, adaptable, accountable, and eager to learn new products, tools, and processes.
