Job Overview
A leading organization in Gaborone, Botswana, is seeking a Product Presales Engineer to support its product marketing and sales efforts.
Primary Duties
- Develop detailed technical materials to support the launch of new products.
- Represent company products at industry-related exhibitions and trade shows.
- Provide technical guidance to sales teams to aid in delivering suitable solutions.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for products.
- Evaluate both company products and competitor offerings to enhance marketing efforts.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Have over two years of experience in technical sales or presales roles within the CCTV sector.
- Skilled in producing technical and visual marketing content.
- Strong understanding of CCTV systems, storage technologies, transmission, intercom, and access control.
- Excellent communication skills combined with effective project management abilities.
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, video editing software, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Experienced in testing competitor products to strategize marketing approaches.
Additional Information
- Location: Gaborone, Botswana
- Monthly Salary Range: R30,000 to R55,000 total cost to company (CTC)
