Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our team, focusing on steering the development and delivery of innovative digital products, especially those enhanced by AI technology. This position entails working collaboratively with business leaders, development teams, quality assurance, and subject matter experts to interpret business objectives into clear product requirements and successful deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and promote the product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business strategies and technological capabilities.
• Utilize AI platforms such as Claude and Claude Code to aid in product discovery, requirement gathering, and documentation accuracy.
• Manage and sequence the product backlog to balance client value, technical feasibility, and delivery scheduling.
• Translate business and technical needs into well-structured user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement sessions and participate in sprint planning to ensure clarity and readiness of development tasks.
• Collaborate with technical teams to assess solution trade-offs across usability, performance, scalability, security, and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain comprehensive product documentation throughout all lifecycle stages, emphasizing superior user experience and functionality.
• Analyze data, user input, and product performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Handle multiple related product initiatives simultaneously, ensuring coherence with broader business goals and roadmaps.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to guarantee transparent communication of priorities and progress.
• Keep abreast of the latest technological trends, particularly AI and large language model advancements, to inform product innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years in roles such as Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or similar product-focused positions in technology.
• Proven expertise in owning product backlogs, developing user stories, and guiding products through complete software development lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum development frameworks.
• Solid technical knowledge of web and mobile applications, APIs, microservices, system integrations, and relational database structures.
• Understanding of data architecture, system dependencies, and vital technical considerations including security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ability to convert complex business challenges into clear, executable requirements suitable for engineering teams.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and collaboration across product, business, and engineering disciplines.
• Comfort in using data analytics and product metrics to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Familiarity with product and project management tools, especially JIRA.
• Experience in trading, fintech, or financial services sectors is highly desirable.
• Exposure to or experience with AI-powered products is a plus.
