Position Overview
We invite you to join our distinguished Product and Technology team, contributing to shaping the future of farming through cutting-edge, user-centric software. As the Product Owner for the Animal Performance & Traceability sector, you will advocate for customers throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring our web and mobile solutions deliver tangible benefits to farmers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog so it aligns with our overarching strategic objectives.
- Serve as the principal liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
- Collect, write, and refine user stories driven by customer needs and UX research insights.
- Champion the customers’ perspective within the software development process.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to maximize customer value.
- Innovate software solutions that enhance farm efficiency and improve customer outcomes.
Candidate Profile
We seek a strategic thinker and customer advocate who thrives in agile settings. The ideal candidate adeptly manages multiple priorities, translates business demands into actionable development tasks, and works cross-functionally to deliver impactful user-centered features.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years’ experience working within agile software development environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools.
- Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to judiciously prioritize features, bug fixes, and enhancements based on business impact.
- Confidence engaging with technical teams, stakeholder groups, and customer feedback mechanisms.
- A forward-thinking attitude coupled with a dedication to ongoing delivery improvements.
