Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager is accountable for shaping and executing the go-to-market approaches and managing the product marketing lifecycle for designated fintech and digital-asset products. This role requires transforming intricate financial and payment offerings into succinct, persuasive customer value propositions and scalable marketing materials. Collaboration with teams across Product, Sales, Business Development, Compliance, and Marketing is essential to ensure products are positioned effectively for targeted market segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft clear product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to specific customer segments.
- Convert complex capabilities related to payments, fintech, and digital assets into simple, engaging narratives for customers.
- Develop frameworks for messaging, competitive differentiators, FAQs, pitch decks, and other enablement resources.
- Perform market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps.
- Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to understand customer needs and use cases.
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies for product launches, upgrades, and geographic expansion.
- Define target audiences, segmentations, messaging, and channel distributions for launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities including launch timelines, deliverables, and evaluation metrics.
- Monitor product adoption and campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Partner with Sales and BD teams to create efficient sales collateral such as decks, one-pagers, battlecards, case studies, and FAQs.
- Support sales personnel in conveying product benefits and value to clients.
- Collect market and customer feedback to inform Product and Commercial teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce product-centered content for digital and offline platforms.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all customer interaction points including websites, sales tools, and social channels.
- Work alongside creative teams to transform product ideas into compelling campaigns.
- Keep abreast of fintech, payment, digital asset, and financial services market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop customer personas and use-case frameworks, conducting research such as interviews and surveys to validate product-market fit.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership based on market and customer analysis.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in product marketing communications.
- Manage multiple product marketing projects simultaneously within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance, or related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in product marketing, product management, fintech, B2B marketing, or financial services.
- Proven expertise marketing payment solutions, fintech innovations, digital assets, SaaS, or financial technology products.
- Deep understanding of product marketing fundamentals – segmentation, positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with aptitude for simplifying complex products and articulating clear value propositions.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent at managing projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Able to engage proficiently with Product, Sales, Business Development, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with capability to transform market data into practical insights.
- Adaptable and effective in an entrepreneurial, high-velocity setting.
Preferred Experience
- Background in payments, digital assets, Web3, blockchain technology, tokenization, or regulated financial services.
- Experience overseeing product launches across multiple regions or jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with API integrations, payment infrastructure, digital wallets, custody services, OTC trading, stablecoins, or related fintech concepts.
- Proven record of developing sales enablement tools and commercial marketing materials.
- Experienced in operating within compliance-guided, regulated environments where marketing must align with legal standards.
