Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join a small but rapidly growing SaaS company located West of London. This is an opportunity to be deeply involved in the product development journey, transforming abstract ideas into real, user-valued solutions. You will experience full ownership of new product initiatives, shaping strategic direction as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new product initiatives from concept to launch, moving from 0 to 1.
- Discover customer pain points and translate them into valuable product opportunities.
- Create quick prototypes to validate ideas before engaging extensive development resources.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, challenge assumptions, and validate potential solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to transform ideas into launched products.
- Define product requirements, prioritize opportunities, and actively manage the product roadmap.
- Leverage data, user feedback, and experimentation to inform product decisions.
- Contribute to shaping product strategy and operational processes as the company grows.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a Product Manager role within a SaaS or B2B software environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take products or major features from conception (0) to launch (1).
- A hands-on mindset focused on prototyping, experimentation, and validation.
- Excellent skills in customer discovery and problem-solving.
- Capacity to work closely with engineering teams, translating challenges into practical solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how product decisions impact business value.
- Curious, pragmatic approach and confidence to operate amidst uncertainty.
- Passionate about building products—not just managing delivery processes.
Additional Details
- Location: West of London, with a requirement for two days onsite per week.
- Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum.
- Company: Small SaaS/B2B software firm with substantial product ownership opportunity.
