Job description

Overview

Join Legatics as a Product Manager, taking a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction and development of our legal transaction management platform. You will navigate the balance between user requirements, market potential, business objectives, and technical feasibility, leading collaborative efforts among engineering, design, sales, customer success, and partners to develop impactful solutions tailored for transactional lawyers.

Legatics is expanding, launching new products, enhancing integrations with existing legal systems, and creating AI-enabled interactions with transaction data. You will own product segments within this context, analyzing market trends and competitors, crafting the roadmap, precisely defining requirements, and ensuring successful delivery to customers and partners. Embracing our shift towards spec-driven development and AI-assisted processes, you'll actively participate in transforming our product workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to collect, synthesize, and prioritize product needs aligned with business goals and strategy.
  • Lead discovery efforts such as customer interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions to validate assumptions, uncover unmet requirements, and explore opportunities.
  • Analyze product usage, customer insights, and market signals to identify enhancement opportunities and influence the product roadmap.
  • Conduct competitive and market research, especially observing AI’s influence on transactional work and Legatics’ positioning.
  • Work alongside Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Partnerships to extract market feedback and identify opportunities.
  • Own and manage product roadmaps by framing key problems, prioritizing tasks with clarity on trade-offs and sequencing.
  • Create detailed specifications, user stories, and feature briefs linking customer needs with business outcomes, providing clarity for engineering teams and AI tooling integration.
  • Leverage AI tools during discovery, specification, and prototyping stages to accelerate idea validation and early customer feedback.
  • Communicate roadmap progress and decisions transparently to leadership and the wider organization.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to refine requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver valuable customer features.
  • Lead product development cycles from concept to launch, ensuring quality, security, and performance, especially where features interact with customer data or external systems.
  • Shape Legatics’ ecosystem strategy, including integrations with document management, e-signature, data room providers, and AI platform interfaces.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Manager to understand partner needs and roadmaps, prioritizing partner-facing developments.
  • Champion product evangelism internally and externally through demos, presentations, and training to stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, customer success, and partnerships to align messaging, drive enablement, adoption, and support go-to-market strategies.
  • Define and track success metrics for owned products, iterating based on user adoption, feedback, and performance data.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Legatics’ product practice by sharing best practices and advancing AI integration into workflows.

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B SaaS product management, preferably with products facilitating project management or simplifying complex workflows, and a history of delivering impactful initiatives.
  • Proven capacity to independently drive complex projects with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to craft precise and clear product requirements.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience engaging deeply with customers to understand their pain points, workflows, and translating insights into product choices.
  • Skilled storyteller capable of compellingly conveying product vision, roadmap, and progress.
  • Creative and innovative thinker who challenges assumptions and approaches problems from fresh angles.
  • Track record working collaboratively with go-to-market teams to support launches, enablement, and adoption.
  • Data-oriented mindset leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions and measure success.
  • Familiarity with API-driven products and integrations, understanding trade-offs in building within broader ecosystems.
  • Experience or comfort with spec-driven development and evolving product workflows involving AI in discovery, specification, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Proficient at using AI tools to enhance personal productivity and identify value opportunities within Legatics products.
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, and staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Legal industry experience or prior work with law firms or professional services.
  • Background in computer science or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience launching new products or integrations from inception to rollout.
