Role Overview

Join GovTech to support Singapore’s goal of developing a Smart Nation by leading product strategy for Automated Workflow (formerly Opus) — an AI automation platform designed to empower public officers to automate workflows, enforce compliance, integrate government tools, and orchestrate agents. This role involves crafting the product vision, driving execution, aligning multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders, and prioritizing developments through data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute product vision and strategy for complex and undefined challenges, harmonizing user needs and business objectives into a clear roadmap.
• Leverage data analysis and define success metrics to prioritize initiatives, validate ideas through evidence, and eliminate those not viable.
• Incorporate insights from user research, customer feedback, market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and technology trends to inform feature planning.
• Proactively identify risks and challenges from technical and market perspectives, devising mitigation plans at the project level.
• Promote a culture embracing speed, simplicity, and agility, wisely managing the balance between rapid delivery and technical debt.
• Own broad and loosely defined projects fully—break down team objectives into actionable plans, prioritize work, and lead workstreams to completion.
• Recognize new opportunities by synthesizing data into clear recommendations linked to organizational impact.

Candidate Profile

• Established experience as a Product Manager with a history of managing complex technology products or digital platforms.
• Strong product intuition that integrates user challenges, business value, and technical feasibility into decisive product choices.
• Comfortable making data-backed decisions, including defining metrics, conducting experiments, and discontinuing ineffective ideas.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of aligning engineering, design, and leadership teams under a shared vision.
• A deep user focus, making decisions based on rigorous research, authentic feedback, and real-world usage data rather than assumptions.
• Adept at navigating ambiguity and complexity where clear answers or scopes may not be predefined.
• Dedicated to serving the public interest through technology solutions.
• Experience or comfort working with AI and automation technologies, helping to shape related products.
• Possess a startup mindset: proactive, scrappy, initiative-driven, and willing to wear multiple hats within a small team environment.
• Familiarity with Whole-of-Government (WOG) tools and the public sector technology ecosystem in Singapore.
