Product Manager, Trading

About the Role

Our client in Dubai is looking for an experienced and proactive Product Manager to lead the development of a next-generation trading platform. This pivotal position requires a strong background in trading, capital markets, fintech, or digital assets. The role is an individual contributor position, demanding collaboration across technology, trading operations, regulatory compliance, design, sales, and senior leadership to deliver institutional-grade trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise Required

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle for trading, exchange, brokerage, or market infrastructure offerings.
• Translate market needs into robust, scalable, and compliant trading products.
• Write comprehensive product specifications, requirements, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams leveraging APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platforms.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Technology, Compliance, Sales, and Executive Leadership, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Apply deep understanding of order entry, execution, liquidity, market structure, and trading workflows to enhance product design and performance.
• Navigate and adapt to regulated financial environments, including familiarity with frameworks such as SEC/FINRA or equivalent international standards.
• Adopt a hands-on approach covering discovery, prioritization, delivery, launch, and post-launch optimization phases.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to advance product development, documentation, analysis, and work processes.

Desired Background

Ideal candidates typically hail from trading platforms, exchanges, brokerages, capital markets, digital assets, or financial market infrastructure with experience in quantitative trading systems, risk engines, matching engines, market data management, order routing/execution, staking, lending, or yield products.
