Role Overview
We seek a dedicated Product Manager who thrives on building innovative solutions daily, enjoys tackling challenging problems, identifies what steps are necessary, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive results. Product Management is central to BurjX’s operations, requiring dynamic interaction with various teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle from concept to release, leading requirements gathering, design, development, testing, iteration, and overcoming obstacles to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and prioritize the product roadmap, evaluating customer feedback, market opportunities, competitor positioning, regulatory considerations, and technical effort.
- Coordinate execution across departments such as Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales, maintaining clear ownership and dependencies.
- Implement company-wide Jira workflows, boards, and reporting mechanisms; deliver training and encourage adoption to enhance transparency, accountability, and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to assess and develop new regulated products and business lines, producing actionable plans.
- Provide regulatory support by documenting product workflows, operating models, system functionalities, and customer journeys for regulatory applications and discussions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and customer experience studies to ensure BurjX’s platform is professional, user-friendly, and tailored for retail customers.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive individual who takes initiative, delivers results, and excels in shipping products.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage company environment, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, and clarifying ambiguous ideas into actionable strategies.
- Experience in implementing or managing Jira, designing operational workflows, and leading organizational adoption.
- Strong commercial awareness linking product initiatives with user adoption, revenue growth, and customer retention.
- Passionate about UI/UX quality, leveraging competitor insights, customer behavior, and data analytics to guide decisions.
- Excellent communicator capable of engaging with technical teams, compliance experts, executives, and external stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to challenge norms, work with urgency, demonstrate accountability, and contribute wherever necessary.
Preferred Experience
Background in fintech, digital assets, payments, brokerage, banking, or other regulated technology sectors is highly advantageous. Experience collaborating with regulators or developing regulated financial products is a significant plus.
