Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Product Manager with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our team in Coimbatore. This role focuses on creating a data-intensive product that enables users to explore, assess, and take action on complex datasets. The position requires collaboration across business stakeholders, design specialists, analysts, and engineering teams to translate user requirements into prioritized features and smooth workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product discovery, prioritize the roadmap, and oversee feature delivery from initial requirements gathering through launch and ongoing enhancements.
• Create intuitive search, query, filtering, comparison, and analytical interactions within the product.
• Develop detailed product documentation including requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with analysts and engineers to define data needs, validate data accuracy, and manage how data recency and reliability are conveyed to end users.
• Leverage customer feedback and product performance metrics to optimize product adoption, improve usability, and ensure users can complete key tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4 to 7 years’ experience in product management with direct responsibility for a data-centric software product.
• Demonstrated experience working with search technologies, structured querying, dashboards, or analytical software tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data models, APIs, and data pipeline concepts.
• Excellent prioritization capabilities, strong written communication skills, and proven collaboration experience, with a track record of successfully delivering product features and measuring their impact.
• Preferred backgrounds include geospatial or mapping applications, business-to-business SaaS solutions, research platforms, or tools that integrate automated analytics with human oversight. Experience guiding a nascent product from concept through market adoption is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, computer science, business, geography, or a related field.

Additional Information

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a full-time, on-site position.
