Job description
Overview
Join a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup in retail and marketing technology based in Central London. This role offers a unique opportunity to become the inaugural Product Manager building the function from the ground up. The company is preparing for a Series A funding round and is trusted by leading global retail brands.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, execution-focused position centered on delivering results rather than planning roadmaps. You will be deeply involved across the full product lifecycle: defining validated delivery plans, managing sprint ceremonies, steering backlog and resolving blockers, approving design before development, ensuring quality releases through test plan authorship, and maintaining scalable documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Commercial experience in product management, delivery, technical project management, or consulting, preferably within B2B SaaS;
- Experience in retail technology or marketing technology is advantageous;
- Technical proficiency sufficient to collaborate effectively with software engineering teams;
- Exceptional writing skills to produce clear tickets and process documentation promptly;
- Proactive self-starter capable of anticipating priorities without guidance;
- Innovative builder mindset prioritizing creation and iteration over maintenance;
- Mandatory fluency and comfort using AI tools integrated into daily workflows, such as for ticketing, documentation, and prototyping.
Additional Information
This role grants significant ownership, including equity participation, and provides a key voice among product, design, engineering, and senior leadership from the start. The team values speed and low bureaucracy, affording a high-impact environment where your contributions shape the business.
