Role Summary
The Product Manager will set the strategic course and oversee the lifecycle for enterprise software products, ensuring alignment to business goals and customer needs. Responsibilities include market analysis, roadmap planning, business case development, and performance tracking. The role bridges strategic planning with tactical execution, working closely with Product Owners and various internal departments to drive product success and growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and communicate long-term product vision and strategic roadmaps aligned with corporate goals.
- Perform market research, customer engagement, and competitor evaluations to find development opportunities.
- Build business cases, pricing frameworks, and ROI models supporting product investments.
- Manage products end-to-end, from initial concept through launch and continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate product success and guide future plans.
- Rank initiatives based on value to customers, revenue potential, costs, risks, and strategy fit.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive teams to coordinate strategies and delivery priorities.
- Drive go-to-market planning, including positioning and messaging for product releases.
- Work alongside Product Owners to ensure tactical activities match strategic objectives.
- Represent products in senior leadership meetings, client interactions, and industry events.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Product Owner staff, providing oversight on backlog prioritization.
- Set product management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Support career growth, performance reviews, and the capability advancement of product teams.
Scope of Role
- Ownership of one or multiple enterprise product lines or significant solution areas.
- Responsibility for product adoption rates, revenue contributions, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Potential direct supervisory responsibility for Product Owners.
- Influence on cross-functional groups spanning Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership.
- Balance between short-term deliverables and strategic, long-range product growth.

Educational and Professional Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines required.
- Advanced degrees such as MBA are preferred.
- Professional certifications in product management, including Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, or SAFe, are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of five years’ background in product management within enterprise software, including comprehensive experience in product lifecycle oversight, market and competitor analysis, financial modeling, and business case creation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product owner collaboration is necessary. Leadership and team management experience are preferred, along with a strong grasp of SaaS models and enterprise client needs.
Working Conditions
- Full-time engagement during standard business hours, with some flexibility to accommodate global operational demands.
- Limited travel obligations, estimated between 5% and 20% for regional coordination and business events.
