About Cohere

Cohere is a forefront enterprise AI company committed to security and innovation. We develop advanced foundational AI models and comprehensive solutions aimed at addressing tangible business challenges. Our global team of researchers, engineers, and designers is dedicated to enhancing our models' capabilities to deliver real value for our clients. Headquartered in Toronto, with offices worldwide, we're passionate about shaping the future of AI adoption in enterprises.

About the North Platform

North is Cohere's AI-driven platform that integrates AI agents and automations securely within organizational infrastructure. By connecting generative and search models with customizable integrations, North aims to boost productivity on a large scale, interfacing with systems like CRM, ITSM, productivity tools, data warehouses, knowledge bases, and identity services.

Role Overview

This position centers on overseeing the entire lifecycle of North's integration frameworks. Responsibilities include setting the strategic direction, managing delivery, driving adoption, and developing underlying platform capabilities that support these integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy for North's integration ecosystem, aligning priorities and partnerships with customer demand and revenue goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of North's integrations, collaborating with strategic clients to shape innovative, workflow-transforming integrations.
  • Identify and define generic platform capabilities—such as connector frameworks, authentication, data synchronization, authorization—that don’t currently exist, working closely with the core experience teams.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to transition integration projects into reusable products, overseeing scope, sequencing, and development.
  • Design developer and partner engagement experiences, including APIs, SDKs, plugin architectures, and documentation, while implementing analytics to monitor adoption, deployment speed, and retention.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years in product management focused on platform APIs, integrations, or developer ecosystem products.
  • Proven success in launching integration, connector, or platform products with measurable impact on usage, growth, or client retention.
  • Experience engaging directly with high-impact customers and ecosystem partners.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, authentication methods, data models, and integration architectures; adept at balancing first-party, partner-led, and self-serve approaches.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong collaboration skills across engineering, design, and deployment teams.
  • Background in AI-focused product management is essential.
  • Demonstrates urgency and a bias towards iterative shipping.
  • Experience in areas such as Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Automation, Productivity tools, Enterprise security, and compliance.

Employee Benefits

  • Weekly lunch stipend equivalent to $75 or £75 in local currency.
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance, including mental health coverage budget.
  • Retirement contribution matching programs such as RRSP, 401K, or pension schemes.
  • Full parental leave top-up for up to six months for either parent.
  • Annual enrichment benefits covering arts, culture, fitness, wellness, family time, and workspace enhancements.
  • Education and learning allowances for conferences, courses, and coaching.
  • Generous paid leave of six weeks (30 working days).
  • Travel budget for remote employees to visit offices and yearly company-wide offsite events.

Work Environment

  • Remote-friendly work policy with multiple global offices including Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, and Seoul.
  • Office-based employees enjoy daily lunch services, snacks, and frequent community events.
  • Remote workers receive a co-working allowance to support working alongside peers locally.
  • All employees receive a $500 stipend to equip their home office workspace adequately.

Diversity and Inclusion

Cohere embraces diverse backgrounds and is committed to equal opportunity. Applicants needing accommodations during recruitment can request assistance to ensure an accessible process.
