About Cyncly
Cyncly is a global technology leader with over 2,400 employees serving more than 70,000 customers in over 100 countries. The company redefines how customizable products and spaces are designed, sold, and managed through comprehensive software solutions that connect designers, retailers, and manufacturers to the largest global product content repository. Operating across various industries such as Kitchen & Bath, Furniture, Window, Glass & Door, and Flooring, Cyncly has a worldwide presence spanning North & South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa. With over three decades of expertise, the firm delivers enhanced value to customers via an expanded end-to-end portfolio and supports its growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions backed by top growth-focused private equity firms.
Role Overview
The Product Manager will join the Flex Platform team, a cross-functional group building shared platform capabilities and services that support Cyncly's global product suite. The chosen individual will lead a clearly defined product segment through every phase—from identifying customer challenges and shaping strategy to prioritization, launch, and evaluating results. This role suits those who thrive on solving ambiguous challenges, tightly collaborating with customers and engineering, and simplifying complex business needs into scalable solutions. Potential focus areas include business workflows, CRM, payments, integrations, analytics, platform services, AI features, and other emerging platform initiatives.
Team Structure and Approach
The Flex Platform team works in small autonomous pods, each accountable for distinct product areas and outcomes. The Product Manager acts as the main product decision-maker, partnering closely with engineering, design, QA, architecture, and business stakeholders. The team culture emphasizes ownership of outcomes over backlog management, granting autonomy to identify critical problems, decide why they matter, determine what to build, and assess success measures.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct thorough product discovery through research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to comprehend user, customer, and business challenges.
- Clearly define problems prior to solution development and form product hypotheses to weigh alternatives and make informed trade-offs.
- Translate business strategies and customer insights into a coherent product vision and roadmap for the assigned area, seeking scalable reusable platform capabilities.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog collaboratively with engineering teams by crafting product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Engage actively in discovery and delivery phases with cross-functional teams, swiftly making daily product decisions and balancing customer requirements, technical complexities, business value, and time constraints.
- Maintain product quality, usability, and scalability standards throughout delivery.
- Foster regular interactions with customers and stakeholders to validate needs and align initiatives, representing product interests in planning and roadmap meetings.
- Define and monitor measurable outcomes post-launch including adoption, usage, customer value, and business impact, leveraging data and feedback for iterative improvements.
- Collaborate across platform pods to manage dependencies and promote reuse of platform capabilities, shaping platform standards beneficial to multiple products.
- Work with go-to-market, business units, and customer-facing teams to prepare and communicate product launches, supporting enablement activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within B2B SaaS or enterprise software sectors.
- Proven track record managing product areas end-to-end, from discovery through delivery with measurable impacts.
- Strong customer-centric orientation with hands-on experience conducting discovery with users or customers.
- Capability to independently own and prioritize product backlogs without a dedicated Product Owner.
- Excellent product judgment with the ability to make strategic trade-offs under uncertainty.
- Skill in simplifying complex business challenges into intuitive product experiences.
- Effective written and verbal communication, including formulating clear requirements, user stories, and stakeholder communications.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams, understanding technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, data architectures, and platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and align stakeholders across functions, regions, and time zones without direct authority.
- Data-driven approach, defining and utilizing metrics to measure product success.
- Ownership mindset, emphasizing responsibility for end outcomes beyond task completion.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on platform products, shared services, or reusable capabilities.
- Background in B2B SaaS, enterprise or vertical industry software.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, data platforms, analytics, or automation tools.
- Experience with AI-enabled products or automation features.
- Exposure to multi-market product launches and geographic scaling.
- Experience in autonomous, cross-functional product pod or squad environments.
- Knowledge of Product-Led Growth (PLG), self-service platforms, or SaaS scaling strategies.
