Job description
About Allerin
Allerin specializes in building production-ready AI solutions for enterprises, focusing on agentic systems, computer vision, machine learning, and real-time analytics that deliver measurable results. Our engineering team develops systems such as automated defect detection, license plate recognition, and AI-driven analytics applied across sectors like manufacturing, logistics, retail, and public safety. Our case studies demonstrate significant improvements, for instance, reducing false positives by 85% as verified by client metrics.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to take full ownership of one of our AI-driven products including user needs, problem definition, roadmap creation, and release management. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role within a dynamic environment where product focus can evolve but the complexity and impact remain constant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ownership of an AI, machine learning, or computer vision product encompassing problem definition, user understanding, roadmapping, and launch.
- Establish and enforce release KPIs, making go/no-go decisions based on data.
- Create detailed product specifications trusted by engineering teams and assess architectural, cost, and latency considerations.
- Design products that accommodate failure modes such as edge cases and false positives, ensuring enterprise-readiness beyond demos.
- Deliver products driven by evaluation metrics and real-world data while implementing safeguards to ensure reliability.
- Link product work to tangible business metrics and transparently report progress and challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Possess sound judgment to determine viable product features and the integrity to discontinue ideas when data negates viability.
- Understand that AI systems operate probabilistically rather than deterministically.
- Proactively prototype concepts independently using AI tools rather than delegating.
- Communicate with clarity and honesty, especially when addressing delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing product lifecycle, requirements, and roadmaps for software or AI-enhanced solutions.
- Technical knowledge of AI/ML principles, data analytics, and contemporary software development; experience with agentic systems, computer vision, or analytics is advantageous.
- Business acumen to define and evaluate KPIs, make trade-offs, and align products with measurable outcomes.
- Strong collaboration skills with stakeholder management and clear communication tailored for cross-disciplinary teams.
- Experience conducting customer research and translating user requirements into actionable product features.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Educational background including a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields; advanced degrees such as master's or MBA are a plus.
- Previous product management experience in technology, SaaS, or AI sectors; exposure to enterprise clients or governmental agencies is beneficial.
What We Offer
- Complete ownership and authority over a significant AI product.
- Engagement with enterprise-level clients and complex, realistic challenges.
- Collaboration with a senior engineering team that values evidence-based decision making.
- A work environment where each month offers new challenges and learning opportunities.
