Job description
Overview
Merchmix is seeking a Product Manager located in Bengaluru, India, to lead the creation of next-generation retail technology. The role involves extensive collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and Business teams to develop comprehensive solutions across suites such as Planning, Merchandising, PLM, Allocation, Planogram, ERP, OMS, WMS, and BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of product features from initial concept to launch.
- Convert business challenges into clear and actionable product requirements and develop detailed roadmaps.
- Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive and scalable product offerings.
- Perform user research, conduct competitor analyses, and engage in product discovery to inform development.
- Define detailed workflows, user stories, and specify acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize product features by evaluating customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Engage directly with retail customers and internal domain experts to gather insights.
- Analyze how products are used and drive continuous improvements on existing functionalities.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on product management experience.
- Background in SaaS, B2B technology, retail, e-commerce, ERP, or supply chain products.
- Strong capabilities in product discovery and gathering requirements effectively.
- Experience working in tandem with Engineering and Design departments.
- Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication prowess and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort with dynamic, fast-paced startup environments.
- A solid ownership mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with retail planning, merchandising, inventory management, supply chain operations, ERP systems, or enterprise SaaS products is highly advantageous.
