About Ministry Brands

Ministry Brands is a leading provider of SaaS operational management systems, payment platforms, digital engagement tools, and background screening solutions tailored for purpose-driven organisations. Serving over 95,000 customers, we have been a trusted partner in digital transformation, helping advance missions, enhance efficiencies, and foster community engagement for more than 40 years.

Our Galway R&D centre serves as the global AI research and development hub for Ministry Brands and is undergoing significant expansion to support a multi-year AI-native transformation across our product suite.

Role Overview

As the Product Manager specializing in AI, you will lead the integration of artificial intelligence throughout our portfolio, driving the development of a cohesive intelligence layer that enhances product efficiency, speed, and value. You will oversee Amplify Equip, our AI-enhanced content creation module, from its strategic planning to successful delivery. Collaboration with product leadership, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams will be key to launching AI solutions responsibly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features, encompassing ideation, product specification, and coordination with engineering and design teams to deploy AI capabilities across multiple products. Ensure quarterly AI commitments are fulfilled.
  • Continuously monitor the AI industry landscape including evolving models, tools, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and position our AI products accordingly.
  • Leverage data analytics to evaluate AI feature usage, adoption rates, output quality, and operational cost. Use this data to highlight successes, areas for improvement, and potential investment benefits.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to launch AI features while equipping teams to effectively support and promote these capabilities. Act as the AI product advocate both internally and externally.
  • Engage with customers to gather insights on AI performance and trust, championing responsible AI to ensure solutions are accurate, safe, and suitable for client organisations.
  • Prioritize the AI product backlog based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and cost, adapting priorities as the AI environment and customer requirements evolve.
  • Manage execution timelines to deliver AI initiatives on schedule, aligning with the broader AI and platform strategies. Oversee sprint planning and coordinate Amplify Equip releases quarterly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of three years in product management with direct experience in launching AI-powered products or features.
  • Familiarity with large language models, generative AI tools, and prompt engineering; awareness of AI evaluation methods, quality, and balancing cost considerations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting usage and model performance data to extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for conveying complex AI concepts to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain keen attention to detail.
  • A profound commitment to responsible AI practices, fostering customer trust and ensuring product usability.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Aha or Monday.com is advantageous; ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working model with presence at the Galway office.
  • 25 days of annual leave in addition to public holidays.
  • Fully employer-paid private health insurance covering employees and their dependents.
  • Dental insurance coverage.
  • Employer-matched pension plan.
  • Income protection and life insurance.
  • Access to Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) and various wellness initiatives.
  • Opportunities for career advancement through mentorship, professional training, and certification.
  • Membership benefits for a gym in Galway.
  • Annual company-sponsored volunteer day.
  • A vibrant and supportive company culture.
