Role Overview

As a Product Manager, you will influence how modern governance operations are created for complex organizations worldwide. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, and customers, you will identify significant challenges and convert them into intuitive products that increase clarity and efficiency in corporate structures.

This role is ideal for individuals driven to develop impactful software alongside talented teams. It demands strong product insight, curiosity, and agility to make thoughtful decisions that progress the platform swiftly. You should adopt a collaborative mindset, learn from colleagues, lead when appropriate, and foster strong partnerships across teams to produce valuable results for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly engage with customers to deeply understand the operations of legal, finance, and governance teams and pinpoint workflow inefficiencies.
  • Establish product vision and prioritize roadmaps balancing customer needs, corporate objectives, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate tightly with Engineering and Design teams to craft thoughtful product solutions addressing complex problems.
  • Make transparent product decisions informed by customer insights, market context, and commercial factors like pricing and segmentation.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth and well-understood product launches.
  • Compose clear product requirements and user stories that enable engineering teams to build effectively while maintaining high standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in governance operations.
  • Leverage AI tools in daily product activities to prototype, accelerate discovery, and discover novel solutions for customer challenges.
  • Identify where emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance customer workflows meaningfully.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing B2B SaaS product development.
  • Proven responsibility for product areas throughout discovery, launch, and iteration phases.
  • Excellent product judgment with the ability to make considered trade-offs in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and design to deliver quality products.
  • Proficiency in leading customer discovery and translating findings into product decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and enthusiasm for emerging tech to improve products and workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to align teams around strategic product goals.
  • Prior exposure to startup or scale-up environments.
  • Desirable: Experience in legal technology, fintech, or similarly complex enterprise software sectors.

Work Location

Our company supports distributed working, targeting top talent globally. While some positions might require proximity to offices in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, roles based elsewhere in Canada and the US operate fully remotely. Applicants must be able to live and work full-time within the US or Canada.

Company Culture

  • Outcome-Oriented: Prioritize ambitious goal-setting and achieving tangible results.
  • Broad Responsibility: Empowered teams own projects from problem definition to delivery.
  • Learning-Oriented: Foster curiosity and challenge established norms.
  • Strategic Agility: Promote fast, effective decision-making with a bias for action.

Employee Benefits

  • Remote-first work culture emphasizing trust, autonomy, and accountability.
  • Work-life balance featuring at least three weeks of vacation, five sick days, six personal/flex days, plus a winter holiday shutdown company-wide.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision coverage, long-term disability, and a Health Spending Account.
  • Flexible parental leave with additional top-ups.
  • Provision of a dedicated home office allowance.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between 115,000 and 160,000 Canadian dollars per annum (remote, Canada-based role).
