The successful candidate will work closely on the engineering, qualification, and lifecycle management of CPU/GPU products with a strong focus on testing, characterization, and yield improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize expertise in test IPs including Scan, MBIST, functional and analog-mixed signal testing, High Speed I/O, and DFT concepts for product validation.
  • Analyze engineering and manufacturing test data employing statistical and yield analytics to extract meaningful insights.
  • Conduct deep-dives into yield impactors using yield pareto analysis and identify root causes for defects, facilitating debugging and corrective action.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and validation of IP and product characterization tasks, including test program development and data collection across typical and corner case samples.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and client system teams to optimize test conditions, such as voltage and frequency, and ensure alignment with product bounding requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive characterization reports highlighting product/IP performance and sensitivity variations across process, voltage, temperature, and silicon parameters.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • Between 4 to 5 years of experience in relevant roles involving CPU/GPU products or associated IPs.
  • Proven skills with Test IPs including Scan, Ethernet, Fuse, IOSPEC, JTAG, MBIST, DDR, PCIE, PLL, RESET, Ring Oscillator, Static/Dynamic IDD, High Voltage Stress, Thermal testing, xGMI, and functional validation.
  • Background in qualifying OSAT for manufacturing test processes.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical data analysis for yield and parametric assessment, including yield enhancement and outlier screening.
  • Knowledge and experience in silicon characterization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature variations.
  • Proficiency in Unix and Windows environments, along with scripting abilities in Java, Perl, and Python.
  • Good grasp of digital testing methodologies and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Yield Analysis tools such as JMP, SQL; experience with characterization test program development and 93k ATE is advantageous.
  • Self-driven, capable of working autonomously, and effective in team collaboration with excellent communication skills.
