Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Product Engineer eager to transform authentic customer challenges into seamless, dependable software solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with company founders, designers, and property managers to pinpoint critical needs, develop impactful features, and refine those features based on user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with property managers and internal stakeholders to map workflows, detect bottlenecks, and prioritize impactful problems.
• Develop end-to-end product features, covering frontend, backend, integrations, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex short-term rental operations, enhancing task efficiency and confidence.
• Design event-driven automation workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks, such as scheduling cleaning or sending check-in instructions.
• Leverage AI technologies including large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to automate communications, prioritize maintenance issues, support pricing strategies, and help manage portfolios.
• Build stable APIs and integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, among others in the rental ecosystem.
• Design solutions addressing challenges such as real-time reservation syncing, dynamic pricing, smart lock access, automated communication, operational forecasting, cleaning and maintenance automation, owner reporting, and AI-powered monitoring.
• Analyze customer feedback and product data to iterate and enhance feature effectiveness, adoption, and user satisfaction.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security, and scalability as platform usage grows.
