Role Overview

We are seeking a driven Product Engineer passionate about transforming customer challenges into practical, reliable software solutions. This role involves close collaboration with founders, designers, and property managers to develop impactful features and systems that streamline the entire rental lifecycle, from guest check-in experiences to backend workflows managing reservations and payments. The ideal candidate thrives on managing the entire product journey—from conception through deployment—and welcomes the opportunity to innovate using AI and automation within the short-term rental sphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with property managers and internal stakeholders to identify workflow inefficiencies and prioritize problem-solving efforts.
• Lead end-to-end product development, designing, coding, integrating, testing, and deploying features while assuming full ownership of product performance.
• Collaborate with designers to craft straightforward user interfaces that simplify complex operational management tasks.
• Develop event-driven automation workflows to reduce repetitive workload such as scheduling cleaning, sending guest instructions, and generating financial statements.
• Implement AI-based functionalities utilizing large language models to automate guest communications, assess maintenance requests, optimize pricing, and enhance portfolio management.
• Build and maintain robust APIs and integrations with key platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google to ensure seamless ecosystem connectivity.
• Create solutions addressing real operational challenges including dynamic pricing, reservation synchronization, smart key management, automated communications, operational forecasting, and AI-driven monitoring.
• Continuously evaluate and refine features using user feedback, product usage metrics, and operational outcomes to enhance effectiveness and user satisfaction.
• Make strategic technical choices balancing rapid delivery, system scalability, security, and reliability as the platform grows.
