Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Designer to join our Hobart team, who will collaborate to deliver powerful yet user-friendly digital tools. This position emphasizes meticulous design and a constant pursuit of detail and excellence.
Team and Reporting
This role is part of the Product team, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO). Close collaboration with the CEO, Co-Founder, Chief Product Designer, and colleagues in product, marketing, and engineering departments is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document design processes and procedures.
- Expand and maintain the design system, workflow, and component library.
- Enhance and uphold established design principles and visual language.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and creatives to deliver high-quality work.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences, taking concepts through to final design.
- Design various digital components that increase design workflow efficiency and consistency across projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive background in design with a multidisciplinary approach, integrating graphic design, motion graphics, and animation within UX/UI for diverse digital products.
- Strong creative flair combined with curiosity and a playful mindset to craft engaging and delightful user experiences that balance aesthetics and functionality.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for continuous growth, collaborating closely to produce pixel-perfect high-fidelity prototypes through iterative processes.
First 6-12 Months Expectations
- Complete the comprehensive Procreate onboarding program and familiarize yourself with team members.
- Gain deep understanding of Procreate's design methodologies, frameworks, and workflows.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
- Prepare for and contribute to critical design projects.
- Become a core contributor to the Product Design team and actively participate in product releases.
