Role Overview

The Product Design team at Seismic is a collaborative, diverse group driven by empathy and data validation to create software. The team seeks a dedicated Product Designer to innovate and design the next generation of Seismic's software products. This role centers on crafting elegant interaction designs and applying Seismic's creative vision to new patterns and user scenarios.

Candidate Profile

• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative design work.
• Over 5 years of experience working in-house doing UX/UI design.
• 5+ years designing enterprise software solutions, showcasing a passion for user-centric products.
• Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative research methods, applied within a Design Thinking framework.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong intuition and enthusiasm for detailed interaction design.
• Understanding of Agile development lifecycles.
• Skill in creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI specifications.
• An eye for compelling visual design aesthetics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, communicate progress clearly, and meet deadlines.
• Experience designing AI-based solutions is a beneficial plus.
• Curiosity and passion for user experience, aiming to develop intuitive and engaging products.
• A commitment to incremental improvements resulting in exceptional product offerings.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills enabling interaction with diverse organizational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and understand customer needs to translate insights into outstanding user experiences.
• Lead ideation and iterative development through sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Design refined solutions for complex user workflows.
• Collaborate with product management and executives to prioritize development roadmaps.
• Effectively communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to all stakeholders.
• Manage product features throughout their lifecycle including research, competitive analysis, definition, usability testing, and launch.
• Integrate UX research and design practices seamlessly into Agile development processes, maintaining an interface that is both beautiful and user-friendly.
