Product Designer

Position Overview

We seek an experienced Product Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join a confidential client based in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for individuals who value exceptional product standards, craftsmanship, systemic thinking, and user experience as fundamental elements of the company culture rather than afterthoughts. Key Responsibilities

• Define product challenges thoroughly rather than solely executing set briefs.
• Transform complicated issues into straightforward and user-friendly experiences.
• Manage the product design process from initial concept to final execution.
• Rapidly prototype and test design ideas.
• Demonstrate strong visual and interaction design skills.
• Collaborate intimately with engineering teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Leverage product data, research insights, and customer feedback to enhance design decisions.
• Adopt a systems-thinking approach to design beyond isolated screens.
• Influence product direction alongside interface choices.
• Engage in critiques and contribute to elevating team design quality.

Candidate Profile

• Between 3 and 5 years of substantial product design experience.
• A portfolio emphasizing solving meaningful product challenges over mere aesthetic screens.
• Proficient in interaction and visual design craftsmanship.
• Strong command of Figma and rapid prototyping tools.
• Experience delivering products from inception through to launch.
• Excellent product intuition and ease with ambiguous situations.
• Effective collaboration skills with product managers and engineers.
• Clear communication of design decisions with strong rationale.
• Attention to detail paired with awareness of overarching product objectives.

Preferred Extras

• Experience in intricate B2B or consumer-facing products.
• Background in fintech, SaaS, AI, developer tools, marketplaces, or other technically complex domains.
• Involvement in greenfield projects or pioneering product areas.
• Evidence of measurable impact on user experience or business growth through design.
• Familiarity with design systems and scalable products.
