Role Overview

The Producer is a proactive individual responsible for managing projects from initial briefing through delivery. The role involves understanding client goals, coordinating multiple teams, managing logistics, and resolving issues to ensure smooth project execution. Projects vary across brand films, animations, regional events, and experimental new formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination from briefing, pre-production, production, post-production, to final delivery.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, resources, crews, vendors, and logistics.
• Serve as the reliable daily communication point for clients, ensuring clear and professional exchanges.
• Maintain project momentum and visibility by tracking statuses and risks proactively.
• Identify potential problems early and devise effective solutions.
• Coordinate creative and production teams, translating client feedback into actionable direction.
• Develop technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with editors, animators, filmmakers, and specialists.
• Participate in creative and storytelling discussions when relevant.
• Explore and evaluate AI and new creative technologies as tools to enhance storytelling and production processes.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2–5 years experience in production, creative agencies, media, or related fields; strong candidates with different experience levels are also welcome.
• Self-motivated with strong ownership and reliable follow-through.
• Highly organized and resourceful, able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Communicates promptly about uncertainties, delays, or risks.
• Proficient in professional English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin, facilitating collaboration with clients and partners in Greater China.
• Understands client servicing as building clarity, judgment, and trust beyond mere message passing.
• Keen interest in AI and emerging creative technologies, willing to experiment and critically assess their value.
• Demonstrates humility to ask questions and initiative to independently solve problems.
• Open to constructive feedback, able to advocate for improvements, and willing to advance once decisions are made.

Technical Skills

Experience or familiarity with video production, post-production workflows, and tools such as Premiere Pro and After Effects is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Work Environment

As part of a small, close-knit team, the Producer collaborates directly with the founder and creative staff, gaining wide-ranging exposure. The role offers visibility and opportunity to extend responsibilities beyond traditional functional areas. A culture valuing independent thinking, open communication, and collaborative decision-making is fostered.

Working hours are generally 9:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional need for flexibility due to production events. This is mainly an onsite role based in Bukit Merah, Singapore, with one day per week available for remote work when possible.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary between S$48,000 and S$60,000, commensurate with experience and responsibility level.
