Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-zoned produce area, ready to receive customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate produce and remove items that are past their expiration or sell-by dates to guarantee product freshness and quality.
• Ensure all produce is accurately priced and labeled, adhering to policies on ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and signage.
• Comply with food safety protocols, including sanitation, cold chain management, temperature monitoring, correct food handling, and adherence to expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock merchandise as necessary, apply protective measures to products, and set up display units such as modulars and shelf caps to maintain inventory levels.
• Strictly follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business demands.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts requiring effective energy and focus management.
• Physically perform repetitive duties such as stocking, organizing, and zoning products, including lifting supplies weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

The role has a starting hourly wage of $18.05.
