Job Overview

This role is based entirely onsite at our supermarket located in New Westminster, British Columbia. No prior formal education or experience is required as training will be provided. The position involves working within the produce department of a grocery store.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers by carrying their purchases to their vehicles and help pack orders directly in their cars.
• Retrieve requested items from shelves or stockroom areas for customers.
• Guide customers to the locations of desired products within the store.
• Unpack deliveries, count, weigh, and sort incoming stock.
• Stock and organize shelves and product displays to maintain an orderly presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of stock areas.
• Label products with prices using stamps or stickers following the current price list.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping to keep the store environment clean.

Additional Details

• Ability to handle items weighing up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
• Must demonstrate flexibility and reliability in work schedule and duties.
