About Logitech and Role Overview

We are looking to hire a skilled procurement professional to join our Indirect Procurement team as a Category Manager. This role involves partnering with internal stakeholders to optimize indirect procurement categories by developing and executing effective sourcing and category strategies that drive business value.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal teams to thoroughly understand procurement needs and business priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities to optimize spending and enhance value.
- Offer informed procurement advice based on market intelligence to facilitate sound sourcing and supplier decisions.
- Promote the adoption of robust procurement practices while supporting stakeholders during sourcing and category initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and other departments to align procurement efforts with business goals and organizational policies.
- Develop and execute category strategies across diverse indirect spend areas including IT, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Facilities, and other corporate services.
- Lead sourcing projects from identifying opportunities to conducting market analysis, through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
- Utilize spend, supplier, and market data to uncover cost savings, cost avoidance, consolidation prospects, and other value-adding opportunities.
- Create strategic sourcing plans and category roadmaps, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Support tracking and implementation of negotiated savings and procurement benefits.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier evaluations to discover competitive sourcing options.
- Assist in supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to secure advantageous pricing and contract terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues in collaboration with stakeholders, and seek ways to enhance supplier service levels and commercial agreements.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key suppliers to support continuous supplier management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- More than 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- In-depth knowledge of indirect procurement categories, including sourcing methodologies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Adept at handling multiple priorities and translating business requirements into effective procurement strategies.
- Experience with spend analytics, dashboards, procurement technologies, and AI-enabled tools for opportunity identification and efficiency improvement.
- Capability in supporting supplier performance management, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and supplier risk management initiatives.
- Commercially driven with a results-focused mindset and a willingness to collaborate across functions.
