Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist focused on spare parts acquisition to join our team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Primary Duties

• Oversee the procurement lifecycle for spare parts and materials needed for maintenance activities.
• Identify and assess suppliers by examining quality standards, pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, and commercial contracts with vendors.
• Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs) diligently.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Maintenance and Operations to guarantee the prompt supply of necessary spare parts.
• Develop and nurture effective relationships with both local and international suppliers.
• Keep abreast of market pricing trends and explore avenues to reduce costs.
• Adhere strictly to company procurement policies and compliance requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, ideally with exposure to spare parts, automotive, heavy machinery, or maintenance sectors.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of spare parts identification and sourcing technical components.
• Exhibit proficient negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Showcase strong organizational, coordination, and analytical skills.
