Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join Estithmar Holding's team in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on the sourcing and purchasing of materials and equipment critical to MEP, Water Solutions, Utilities, and Engineering projects. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in procurement processes, supplier relations, and contract management with a strong emphasis on relevant industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire materials, equipment, and services required to meet project specifications.
• Assess potential suppliers, request and compare quotations, and negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, project management, and commercial departments to align procurement timelines with project needs.
• Track purchase orders, oversee deliveries, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and punctuality.
• Maintain up-to-date procurement documentation and accurately record all transaction details within the ERP system.
• Adhere strictly to company procurement policies while aligning activities with project schedules.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least three years of procurement experience, ideally within Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Water Solutions, Utilities, or related engineering project environments.
• Proficient understanding of procurement processes including supplier evaluation and contract administration.
• Experience sourcing materials and equipment specifically related to water treatment, pumping stations, plumbing networks, or MEP systems is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Availability to commence employment within one month or sooner.
