Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the annual procurement strategy aligned with organizational priorities and budget constraints.
• Develop sourcing approaches based on departmental needs, market trends, risk factors, and spend analysis.
• Aggregate procurement demands to leverage scale and secure favorable commercial agreements.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from initiation to supplier performance assessment, adhering strictly to company policies, governance, and regulatory criteria.
• Lead competitive sourcing exercises including RFQs, RFPs, and tenders, ensuring transparency and fairness.
• Negotiate commercial terms to optimize pricing, contractual conditions, risk distribution, and service levels.
• Collaborate with Legal and other business teams for contracts management including drafting, reviewing, renewals, and terminations.
• Manage supplier relationships through continuous performance evaluations and risk mitigation tactics.
• Ensure all procurement operations comply with company governance, audit requirements, and confidentiality obligations.
• Drive cost savings initiatives by conducting spend analysis and identifying consolidation opportunities.
• Partner with multiple internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and others to align procurement with their requirements.
• Maintain procurement data accuracy, develop management reporting dashboards, and advocate process enhancements through digital tools.
• Lead and nurture the procurement team, setting performance goals and promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• 8 to 10 years of extensive procurement experience, preferably in the financial services or regulated industry sectors.
• Proven proficiency in managing sourcing processes, supplier relations, contract negotiations, governance, and compliance.
• Experienced in procurement analytics, spend analysis, and reporting.
• Professional certifications like CIPS, CPSM are advantageous.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in financial domains is highly preferred.
