Job description
Job Overview
Join Kreher Family Farms as a Processing Attendant I and be directly involved in the critical steps of packing and shipping fresh eggs distributed daily across New York State and beyond. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our quality eggs reach our customers efficiently.
Key Duties
- Pack eggs into boxes or racks for shipping.
- Support machine and facility cleaning during and after shifts.
- Gain knowledge of related tasks including egg candling, supplying cartons and flats to machines, and assisting with date labeling and packer operations.
- Conduct safety inspections on all machinery used in the process.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and observation.
- Capable of performing repetitive hand and arm motions.
- Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrates a positive, proactive attitude.
- Works efficiently handling delicate products without sacrificing speed.
- Spanish-English bilingualism is advantageous but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
