About HMP Highpoint and the Role
His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) is seeking dedicated Prison Officers for HMP Highpoint located in Cheveley, England. This role plays a critical part in public protection and providing positive interventions to offenders within the prison setting.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, no two days are alike. Prison Officers perform a variety of tasks including maintaining safety and security, supporting offender rehabilitation, and promoting positive relationships. Officers serve as peacekeepers, mentors, counselors, and educators, engaging directly with prisoners to encourage personal development and transformation. The position involves shift work, including weekends.
