Prior-Authorization Trainee

About the Role

We are seeking a Prior-Authorization Trainee to join our Pre-Authorization department, located in Andheri TIS, Mumbai. This is a permanent position working the night shift suitable for candidates with minimal to 2 years of experience, preferably with a background as any graduate or minimum HSC (10+2 equivalent).

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain precise information.
• Ensure details gathered comply with regulatory and company policies.
• Exercise sound judgment while interacting with insurance representatives.
• Perform patient pay estimates, verify insurance details, and secure preauthorization for diverse medical specialties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong capability to establish rapport with clients over the phone.
• Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate well within a team, maintaining a constructive attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sound keyboarding skills.
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure, meeting daily productivity goals.
• Experience in US calling processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
