Printing Specialist / Operator

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Printing Specialist / Operator to join our team in Jiddah on a full-time, on-site basis. This position entails setting up, operating, and supervising digital and inkjet printers to deliver premium printed materials aligned with detailed job specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end print workflows ensuring production meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Operate and finely adjust inkjet and digital printing devices to achieve optimal output.
• Conduct routine printer maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and equipment calibration.
• Oversee bindery and finishing operations including cutting, folding, and binding to finalize printed products.
• Monitor print jobs for accurate color matching, layout accuracy, and perform final inspections.
• Manage material inventory and supplies to maintain smooth production processes.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to enhance production efficiency and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in printing and print production management.
• Proficient with inkjet and digital printing equipment operation.
• Knowledgeable in bindery procedures and finishing techniques.
• Experience in printer support including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Attention to detail with a focus on color precision and quality control.
• Basic understanding of print file formats and prepress setups, such as PDF configurations, resolution, and bleed specifications.
• Organized with strong time management abilities to juggle multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Effective communicator and team player comfortable in a collaborative production setting.
• Previous work experience within a print shop or digital production facility is preferred.
• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing or graphic arts is advantageous.
