Printing Machine Operator

Overview

We seek a skilled and diligent Printing Machine Operator to handle and maintain printing equipment ensuring superior quality outputs aligned with specifications.

Key Duties

• Efficiently and safely operate printing machinery.
• Set up machines according to dimensions, materials, colors, and print details.
• Prepare and load materials including vinyl, flex, paper, PVC, acrylic, and similar substrates.
• Verify that artwork and files are prepared correctly for printing.
• Adjust color and print quality as necessary.
• Supervise machine operations throughout production to guarantee consistent output quality.
• Inspect printed products for correct color, alignment, defects, and overall quality.
• Perform regular cleaning and routine machine upkeep.
• Diagnose and resolve common printing and mechanical issues.
• Keep accurate records of production and material usage.
• Reduce material waste and optimize machine performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to meet deadlines.

Required Competencies

• Practical experience with digital and large-format printing machines.
• Basic understanding of printing materials, inks, and media configurations.
• Knowledge of print quality factors including resolution, color accuracy, and sizing.
• Capability to interpret job specifications and production instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
• Problem-solving skills to address common machine and print faults.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to timelines.

Salary Details

The role offers a monthly compensation ranging between 20,000 and 30,000 INR.
