Printer Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a competent Printer Technician to install, service, diagnose, and repair printer devices. This role involves providing technical support both in-person and remotely to ensure smooth functioning of printers and related hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and fix printer issues through effective troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Install, set up, and maintain printers, scanners, and multifunctional devices.
• Carry out routine servicing, upgrades, and enhancements to optimize printer performance.
• Detect hardware and software problems and resolve them promptly.
• Deliver technical assistance onsite as well as remotely to clients.
• Keep detailed records of services provided, job reports, and inventory usage.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and quality guidelines.
• Provide customers with technical advice and basic training as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in repairing and troubleshooting printer hardware.
• Familiarity with various printer technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to work independently handling multiple service tasks.

Experience & Employment Details

• 1 to 3 years of relevant expertise; however, fresh candidates with solid technical knowledge may be considered.
• Permanent full-time position.
• Work will involve onsite and field visits as required.
