Role Overview
We seek a Principal Solutions Engineer to join our team in London, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. This expert role focuses on accelerating business expansion nationally by offering deep technical know-how, competitive insights, and product assessments across sectors supporting potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority on system integrations during significant sales pursuits, preparing/delivering proposals, requests for proposals (RFPs), and bespoke proof-of-concept evaluations showcasing OneTrust’s integration capabilities tailored to client objectives.
- Lead comprehensive technical discussions to design integrations and guide clients on optimal practices.
- Assist Sales Teams in client engagements, presentations, and creating custom integration designs.
- Collaborate with internal Research & Development, integration, and partner teams to influence product capabilities and future roadmap.
- Support Sales and Marketing by generating high-quality sales proposals and related materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales cycle activities using Salesforce.com CRM.
Candidate Profile

- Fluent in English.
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum of 8 years in a Solutions Engineering role with relevant technical exposure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in managing customer engagements from discovery through demonstrations to proof projects.
- Experience within the software industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience engaging senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving environments, managing multiple priorities seamlessly.
