Job Summary

We are searching for a Principal Solution Architect to join our rapidly expanding server division. This role involves collaborating with external clients and internal design teams to enhance storage server products. The candidate will also spearhead the creation of an aggressive go-to-market strategy and develop product roadmaps aimed at maximizing market presence for our server solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive use cases for rack management, power, and cooling functionalities within software products.
• Lead software design initiatives improving datacenter space utilization, power consumption, and cooling efficiencies.
• Evaluate customer environments and requirements to generate effective architecture designs and identify potential gaps.
• Drive technical solutions that meet customer demands and align with overarching business goals.
• Work collaboratively with product, production, sales, and field technical teams ensuring cohesive execution and alignment.
• Act as a customer advocate by promoting improvements in products and processes based on client feedback.
• Create and maintain reference documentation including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, scripts, and operational runbooks.
• Enhance internal workflows to boost efficiency for both customers and product teams.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers to facilitate successful adoption of Supermicro solutions.
• Apply project management expertise and communication skills to coordinate efforts across all stakeholders effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Solution Architecture, Product Management, and software development focused on DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) systems.
• Proficient programming capabilities and experience with RESTful APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of data center operations, including power distribution, cooling technologies, rack management, and environmental monitoring standards.
• Experience working with time-series databases, real-time data processing, and dashboard creation for infrastructure monitoring.
