Principal Product Owner

About the Role

This position has ownership over two critical domains within the product ecosystem: firstly, the products utilized by 25,000 teachers for monetization—this includes mentoring, live events, retreats, courses, and the cohesive dashboard linking them together; secondly, the content library—with responsibilities to expand it, address the discrepancy between user search queries and available content, and develop scalable systems for content growth and organization.

This role is hands-on, ideal for innovators who can transform ideas into tangible products, harnessing AI to create functional prototypes ready for millions of users. It is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance teacher-focused monetization products including mentoring, live events, retreats, courses, and their integrated dashboard.
• Scale the content library by architecting systems that increase the volume and quality of content intake.
• Identify and bridge gaps between user search intent and existing content, formulating targeted strategies to address these deficiencies.
• Leverage AI technology to design and build prototype products prior to engineering handover.
• Engage directly with teachers to comprehend their audience-building and revenue-generating approaches and identify opportunities to support their income growth.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience designing and launching consumer products with millions of users.
• A proactive builder enthusiastic about problem-solving and creating elegant product solutions, with a strong affinity for AI and prompt engineering.
• Deep marketplace understanding, ideally with experience serving both sides of a marketplace; experience with creator platforms is advantageous.
• Insight into creator business models and revenue streams.
• Expertise managing large scale content libraries or pipelines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Hands-on AI usage demonstrated through personally developed AI-driven products.
