About the Role

We seek a Principal Product Manager to shape the future of Absorb's Enterprise Customer Education segment, helping our enterprise clients effectively train and empower their customers at scale. This pivotal role requires a mix of strategic vision, innovative thinking, and analytical precision. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, validate concepts through data-driven methods and prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform ideas into impactful business results.

The ideal candidate is a strategist, innovator, and storyteller, adept at synthesizing data, customer insights, and cutting-edge technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—to develop bold yet practical plans that will influence Absorb’s direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and advocate a clear segment strategy by deeply understanding the customer education market and client requirements to achieve meaningful differentiation.
  • Identify and quantify growth opportunities leveraging data analysis, research, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to prototype, test, and iterate on new product ideas rapidly.
  • Build strong consensus and alignment by crafting persuasive, data-supported business cases and engaging senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee execution by clarifying objectives, connecting teams, and ensuring deliverables align with intended goals; communicate progress on key metrics.
  • Lead by influence, offering strategic guidance and mentorship to product managers within the segment to ensure unified direction and effectiveness.
  • Incorporate an AI perspective by exploring innovative technologies to enhance customer learning and scale enterprise education.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for customer education across the organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of product management experience within B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments, with a strong record of shaping strategy and delivering measurable results.
  • Expertise in transforming insights into actionable strategy using data, customer research, and strong business judgement.
  • Experience in early-stage or startup-like environments (0-1 products), comfortable managing ambiguity and rapid product iterations.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities to produce robust business cases and forecasts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence executives and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Experience partnering with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to evolve concepts into executable plans.
  • Strong interest and understanding of AI and emerging technologies applicable to customer education and enterprise learning.
  • Bonus: Prior experience in customer education, enablement, or learning technology sectors.
