Tactiq is revolutionizing meetings by transforming them into sessions where work is effectively executed. Trusted by over a million users across numerous teams, Tactiq offers an AI-powered note-taking solution integrated with platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Based in Sydney and backed by Series A funding, Tactiq is a product-led growth SaaS company focused on exceptional user experience.

Role Overview

As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll drive both strategic planning and hands-on delivery within one of our focus areas including Growth & Distribution, AI Excellence, Collaboration, or Monetization. This role demands proactive involvement from prototyping with AI tools to analyzing data and engaging users weekly to rapidly innovate and iterate. Traditional lengthy PRDs and stakeholder management are replaced by agile problem identification, hypothesis testing, and quick learning cycles.

Daily Activities

  • Create AI-powered feature prototypes using tools like Cursor, Claude, and Lovable, and deploy minimum viable products.
  • Design and conduct A/B testing including defining success metrics and analyzing results to inform decisions.
  • Extract and analyze data firsthand using Mixpanel and SQL to uncover unique insights.
  • Conduct weekly user interviews for continuous discovery and feedback.
  • Operate in fast experiment cycles to ship, measure, learn, and iterate within weeks.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses over 8 years of experience in product roles with more than 3 years specifically in B2B SaaS product-led growth.
  • Hands-on experience building AI products including engineering prompts, testing models, and shipping AI functionalities.
  • Highly technical: capable of delivering product features, creating dashboards, and authoring product requirements when necessary.
  • Experienced in full lifecycle A/B testing: from hypothesis setting to instrumentation, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Engages regularly in user research with the ability to conduct insightful 20-minute user interviews.
  • Thrives in rapid iteration environments with deep understanding of product growth mechanics like activation and habit formation.
  • Prefers shipping rapid prototypes over detailed specifications.

Additional Advantages

  • Background as a founding or sole product manager in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Experience with Chrome extensions and browser-based products.
  • Development of AI agents, multi-channel platforms, or workflow automations.
  • Familiarity with meeting, productivity, or collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of ecosystems such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

Employee Benefits

  • Equity ownership through stock options, providing meaningful stake in the company success.
  • High leverage and impact through a lean AI-enabled team with significant product ownership.
  • Autonomy in decision-making with principal-level scope and minimal hierarchical approvals.
  • Opportunity to shape the emerging AI meeting intelligence sector.
  • Established user base exceeding one million and proven product-market fit with active product-led growth.
  • Continuous learning environment focused on cutting-edge AI product development.
  • Use of modern productivity and collaboration tools such as Linear, Mixpanel, Intercom, and various AI platforms.
  • Flexible remote working culture emphasizing trust and autonomy.

Core Company Values

  • Customer-centric product development delivering measurable outcomes swiftly.
  • Rapid yet thoughtful delivery focusing on impactful results rather than activity volume.
  • Data-driven decision making supported by intuition and rigorous analytics.
  • Autonomy for optimal individual and team performance with minimized operational noise.
  • Open communication fostering transparency, trust, and collaboration.
  • Measured growth prioritizing long-term sustainability and employee wellbeing.
