The Principal Architect at NETS Solutions acts as a senior technology leader focused on driving excellence in architecture governance, engineering standards, innovative technology adoption, and overall engineering productivity. This role involves providing strategic, hands-on architectural leadership for key business initiatives while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable, all aligned to business needs. The Principal Architect serves as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders and fosters a culture of continuous learning, engineering best practices, and the integration of modern software development approaches, including AI-assisted techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex, mission-critical business solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to transform business requirements into practical, scalable, and easily maintainable system architectures.
• Oversee solution lifecycle to ensure business and architecture goals remain aligned.
• Offer guidance for resolving deep architectural, integration, security, performance, and operational challenges.
• Provide architecture expertise during client engagements and pre-sales activities as a trusted technical advisor.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical architectural decisions and challenges.
• Evaluate new technologies, architectural patterns, and engineering practices to recommend enhancements that boost quality and delivery efficiency.
• Promote and institutionalize AI-assisted development methods and specification-driven workflows to heighten productivity and software quality.
• Set governance, standards, and risk safeguards for AI-driven engineering tools ensuring compliance with security and regulatory demands.
• Mentor and lead architects and technical staff fostering leadership, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Drive communities of practice, technical learning programs, and knowledge sharing to enhance capabilities and delivery effectiveness.
• Define and manage architecture standards, design patterns, governance frameworks, and review processes to maintain excellence across NETS Solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in leading architecture and governance for large-scale, high-availability, high-volume transaction systems.
• Track record of defining architecture standards and governance frameworks utilized by multiple teams.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills across cross-functional technical teams in complex environments.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, technical solutioning, and large transformational projects.
