Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI engineer proficient in Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI systems. In this role, you will architect reliable, production-level AI solutions aimed at optimizing technical workflows and empowering development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex multi-agent systems and workflows for IP research and development automation.
• Develop AI copilots capable of tool usage, planning, and maintaining memory.
• Create prompt frameworks and orchestrate logic for executing intricate, multi-step operations.
• Construct retrieval systems tailored to semiconductor IP documentation, including specifications, verification reports, and design documents.
• Develop ETL workflows handling document parsing, chunking, and semantic data enrichment.
• Enhance retrieval effectiveness using evaluation metrics, reranking methods, and hybrid search techniques.
• Implement MCP servers and clients to facilitate secure context sharing between enterprise tools.
• Develop Agent-to-Agent (A2A) integrations linking AI services to existing IP development processes.
• Build APIs that enable seamless interaction between AI agents and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
• Establish frameworks to evaluate retrieval metrics, task success rates, and output quality.
• Deploy guardrails to validate outputs, detect hallucinations, and ensure domain-specific accuracy.
• Create observability infrastructures that monitor tracing, token usage, and latency.
• Optimize system cost and performance through caching, model routing, and token management techniques.
• Collaborate with IP designers and verification engineers to gather domain knowledge.
• Translate R&D workflow challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Document architectural decisions, prompt strategies, and integration patterns to facilitate team growth.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of software development experience focused on AI and machine learning.
• Deep expertise in generative AI, RAG, and agentic AI systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming emphasizing modularity, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with semiconductor IP development methodologies.
• Experience developing ETL pipelines, observability tooling, and deploying solutions on cloud platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) integration patterns.
• Background in integrating with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
