About the Role
Join a pioneering AI-native geospatial intelligence firm in Sydney, collaborating with founders and early technical team members to craft innovative, scalable AI products. This role is central to shaping the AI-driven intelligence layer that transforms satellite and aerial imagery, along with location data, into practical commercial insights across industries such as renewable energy, insurance, defense, government, and real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AI architecture and develop the technical roadmap for the company.
- Build and manage production-grade agentic AI systems and intelligent workflow pipelines.
- Architect and orchestrate multi-agent AI frameworks.
- Develop retrieval, reasoning, and knowledge management systems.
- Create AI-powered product enhancements leveraging computer vision on geospatial and imagery datasets.
- Deploy and maintain AI services in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Establish and uphold technical standards along with evaluation frameworks for AI components.
Required Expertise
- Proven experience in deploying AI systems into production environments, beyond model experimentation.
- Strong proficiency in agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), computer vision, Python programming, and distributed system architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and AI/ML operations (MLOps) in production.
- Demonstrated ability to blend technical depth with commercial insights—translating user needs into effective AI solutions linked to product and business outcomes.
- Eligible for and capable of obtaining an Australian Government security clearance; Australian citizenship is mandatory.
