Role Overview

As a Primary Teacher at Gyan International School, you will inspire and nurture young learners, focusing particularly on enhancing their numeracy capabilities while cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. You will deliver high-quality educational experiences for students in Class IV, helping them develop holistically in line with CBSE standards and the National Education Policy 2020.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school academic guidelines.
• Utilize innovative teaching aids like smart boards, digital platforms, and AI tools to maximize classroom learning.
• Create creative instructional materials and activities that foster conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills.
• Conduct assessments both formative and summative, maintaining precise academic records.
• Promote ethical values, life skills, and discipline consistent with the institution’s vision of value-based education.
• Collaborate with fellow subject teachers, co-curricular staff, and parents to support student growth.
• Incorporate arts, storytelling, experiential learning, and project-based teaching methods daily.
• Uphold classroom discipline, manage attendance, and maintain comprehensive student portfolios.
• Engage in school-wide functions, assemblies, and professional development workshops.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities including report card preparation, data management, and ERP system updates.
• Participate actively in continuous academic enhancement initiatives.
• Devise concept-driven mathematics lessons demonstrating practical and meaningful understanding.
• Cultivate students' problem-solving aptitude, logical reasoning, and mathematical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to weave mathematics with other disciplines and activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a B.Ed in any specialization, or be any graduate or B.Sc in Mathematics, eligible to teach primary level.
